Bean Bags For Kids

All of our products are made with your child's safety at the front of the design process, bean bags can come with some risks, mainly in accessing the beans within the bag. With this in mind, our Hipkids bean bags have a small opening with a safety zipper for polystyrene bean filling and is then protected by another smaller pocket, with an extra safety zipper, the zipper tags have been removed as an extra safety precaution.

Beans for our kids’ bean bags are not included, we recommend stopping in your local Target, Big W, Kmart or Spotlight to purchase the beans for your beanbags. Bean bag beans are usually made out of expandable polystyrene, these can be harmful if inhaled, therefore we advise only an adult should fill up our bean bag chairs. To safely fill your bean bag we recommend using a paperclip to pull open the zipper and using a plugged bathtub or similar container whilst filling up your bean bag to prevent stray beans escaping.
